Call for Proposals

The theme for this year’s annual conference is “Innovative and Practical Best Practices in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language”. We invite individuals who are interested in presenting at the conference to submit a proposal for a 20 minutes talk or a 40 to 60 minutes workshop. Panel(s) that consists of no more than 3 presenters and focuses on the same topic is also welcome.


Application: Submit electronically a one page paper proposal that provides a concise abstract, presenter’s name and affiliation, target audience, and other reverent information.


Proposal submission deadline:  Friday, July 24, 2015 @ 5 PM

Remark: CLTA-TX will reserve and pay for one night hotel expense for those presenters (CLTX-TX members) who live outside of DFW area. The Board decides to provide this financial support mainly because the annual conference was held in the DFW area last year and it’s going to be held again in DFW area.

We welcome inquiries from potential exhibitors and conference supporters. This is a perfect opportunity to network with your colleagues, clients, and others interested and involved in language teaching. In addition to onsite recognition during the conference, logos and names of organizations will be placed online and in conference materials.
