CLTA-TEXAS sets your benefits as its first priority.
In order to provide the most benefits to our members, CLTA-TEXAS:

2. Brings excellent presenters to Texas (and/or online) for Texas educators to learn all the needed tools/skills/knowledges/etc. for you apply in your own classroom,

In 2019, CLTA-TEXAS has/had the following workshops:
1. 2019 Spring Workshop (Free for members)
2. 2019 Annual Conference (Free for members – if membership paid by 7/28/19)
3. 2019 After-Conference Workshop (Discounted price)
4. 2019 OPI 4 Days Workshop – Chinese (Discounted price for members + free lunch [not provided in other ACTFL OPI Workshop] + reimbursement later for members only)
5. 2019 Fall Workshop (Free for members)
On top of the benefits mentioned above, CLTA-TEXAS Financial Committee considered changing the membership timeframe from 1/1 – 12/31 to 7/1 – 6/30 each year, and the Board of Directors agreed/voted on 7/18/19 to change the membership period.
How does the change affect your current membership period for 2019?
As 2019 is the year to change the membership timeframe, all 2019 paid members will have a FREE half year extended membership. That means the 2019 membership will be extended to 6/30/2020.
In this case, not only can you attend the 2019 CLTA-TEXAS Annual Conference for free, you can also attend the 2019 Fall Workshop AND the 2020 Spring Workshop for free as well.
Also, starting 7/1/2020, all members for 2020/2021 can attend:
1. Annual Conference (Free for members)
2. Fall Workshop (Free for members)
3. Spring Workshop (Free for members)
