What: 2019 Annual Conference of Chinese Language Teachers Association of Texas

Date: Saturday, August 3, 2019

Theme:  “Best Practices for  Successful and Thriving Chinese Language Programs in the 21st Century.”

Call for Proposals:

The theme for the 2019 CLTA-TEXAS Annual Conference is: “Best Practices for  Successful and Thriving Chinese Language Programs in the 21st Century.”

We would like to invite individuals who are interested in presenting relevant topics at the conference to submit a proposal for a 15-20 minute speech or a 40 to 60 minute workshop. A panel that consists of no more than 3 presenters and focuses on the same topic is also welcome.

Application: Submit electronically a one page proposal that provides a concise summary, presenter’s name and affiliation, target audience, and other relevant information.

Important Dates:
Submission deadline:  April 7, 2019 @ 11:59 PM
Notification of proposal status: May 12, 2019
Conference date: Saturday, August 3, 2019
